In todays episode we share my favourite juice recipe ever. The Lemon and Ginger Blast. It’s divine and it tastes like Ginger Ale. We also discuss best practices for breaking a Juice Feast, taking it slowly and being aware of what you are putting into your body. Recommendations: If you are doing a Juice feast under 24 days, take 1 day to break the fast for each 7 days fasting. eg 1 week fasting – Take at least 1 day to break the fast. 2 weeks fasting – Take at least 2 days to break the fast. When doing a fast over 24 days, be sure to spend at least 6 or even 8 days breaking the juice feast. Accoring to David Rain of www.juicefeasting.com it’s good to break a juice feast with Soaked Organic Prunes. Soak the prunes over night and then in the morning drink the soak water and eat as many prunes as you can whilst continuing to drink the juices as before. Then on day 2 or 3 introduce juicy fruits like Mango, Berries, Watermelon to assist the peristaltic action. Avoid the denser fruits at this time like Banana’s and Avocado. On day 4 – 5 Start introducing Salads into the diet whilst continuing to eat the Juicy fruits and drinking Juices. Day 6 – Consciously start introducing other foods into diet. Be careful not to over-indulge at this time. Take it slow and allow your body to become accustomed to the changes. Mathew also shared the second posture from the 5 Tibeten Rights. MY FAV GREEN JUICE ~ This is my favourite green juice recipe. It tastes great and is very palatable. If you’re looking for a simple yummy recipe for green juice try this one! It’s simply divine :) —– —– —– —– —– —– —– —– —– MY FAVOURITE GREEN JUICE RECIPE x2 heads organic Romaine Lettuce 150g organic Spinach x1 organic Cucumber x4 stalks organic Celery x2 organic Apples x1 organic Pear Juice all ingredients, strain through nutmilk bag, and enjoy! :) Serves 2 —– —– —– —– —– —– —– —– —– Add green juice to your daily regimen and you are sure to improve your health!! A delicious iced drink recipe obtained from Kitchen Princess Manga. Ingredients: Any variety of colorful fruit juice, i’m using: Orange/Mango Juice Grape Juice Cherry Juice You also need Ginger ale/apple cider 1) Fill the squares of an ice sube tray half way with water 2) Add juice to each cube, be careful not to over flow. You want a half juice and half water consistency to prevent the cubes from turning into a sorbet texture. 3) Freeze the tray for at least two hours, more is best to keep the cubes firm. 4) Plop out the cubes into a bowl 5) Drop the colored ice cubes into a glass cup and pour ginger ale or apple cider over it. Serve!
