I read that is best to juice wheatgrass starting at the tips facing down to get more juice, are you still juicing wheatgrass? If so, how are you likeing it? I read that there are many benefits to drinking wheatgrass juice and it can even keep hair from going grey and can help grey hair to grow back with color :) were you ever able to fix that drip? I am thinking about buying this same juicer :)

Mandy- I don’t know how to get more juice out of the grass, but I have read that it isn’t until the wheat grass matures that the simple sugars turn into complex sugars and the full health benefits are released.

I decided that I don’t like wg juice much, so I sold the juicer! Sorry. :-( I do think that if I’d have twisted that nob a bit tighter that it wouldn’t have dripped but I didn’t try it.
This is a good manual juicer, though. The pieces are all really solid, and it did clean easily.

Thanks for the video :) ! I have on too, bought last winter, used it only once since@the time of purchase there was no information about it being able to juice only grass. I tried carrots and it was a nightmare, slow and what even worse – juice yield was lower than my cheap centrifugal juicer. So yeah, havent tried for greens yet, will try ;) !

Mandy- I’ve never heard that tip before, but it’s interesting! Actually, despite my rather liking the juicer itself, I hated the juice! *lol* It also takes a lot of wheatgrass to get a little juice, so wasn’t worth it to me. Best of luck if you do!

Mocha, thanks and glad to hear it!

There is no need to grow or buy wheatgrass.I read from numerous reliable sources that all grasses are edible,I mean drinkable, the liquid, not the fiberous part. I was very excited when I heard this that I ran outside and cut tons of wild grass with scissors and juiced it.

Very nicely done, thanks for your efforts! I think, though, that I’m going to save for something electric; I have no place to mount this properly.

  • Vegirobin says:

Ummm…. that juicer can also attach to the counter top by suction!!!!!!!! You aren’t required to even use the vice to hold it on. Maybe you should have done more research.

got this yesterday..was worried initially BUT IT WORKS….does a good job but i would only use this for wheatgrass and not other vegetables as it takes too long…
